Last week, a young woman was attacked and nearly lynched by a mob of ultra-Orthodox thugs for the "crime" of not being dressed with sufficient modesty. In this incident, Natali Mashiah was attacked by approximately ten men who smashed the windows of her car, punctured her tires and spilled bleach in the car. As Ms. Mashiah tried to escape, one of her attackers threw at rock at her, hitting her in the head.

MOSCOW -- A new Office to establish Jewish lineage and Status Opened in Moscow this week. The new office opened in cooperation with the Rabbinical Court of Moscow and with the support of the Harry Tribogoff Foundation and Toronto Friendship—the Friedberg Foundation. HOLOCAUST REMEMBRANCE COMMEMORATING ITALIAN JEWISH VICTIMS HELD IN LA


LOS ANGELES – Italians all around the world marked Jan. 26 with Holocaust commemoration ceremonies.  In Los Angeles, at the initiative of the Italian Consulate General and the Italian Cultural Institute, along with American Jewish Committee held a simultaneous and public reading of the 8,000 names of Italian Jewish victims of the Holocaust.
